Behind the Project

About Gravel Routes

Introducing Gravel Routes: A place to showcase amazing gravel routes across the nation.

The Contributors

Dustin Williams

Dustin thinks like a designer. His mind is an open world, unfolding in front of him like the graphics in early video games. He’s a part of Gravel.Routes because his natural curiosity causes him to find roads others wouldn’t. This isn’t a metaphor. It’s an honest truth. Put him on a bike and turn him loose -- you’re sure to see something worth slowing down for.

Jorge Engroba

Jorge is the man everyone wants on their team. Why? Because of his ability to simultaneously project total calm and capable radness. He brings those same skills to Gravel.Routes. An impeccable sense of direction, a deep knowledge of the bicycle industry, and time spent with over 30 brands makes Jorge someone you’ll always want on your team, no matter the sport.

TJ Stallbaumer

TJ once wrote 1,463 words about a 22-mile bicycle ride with four turns. He has a love of language that even his love of bikes can’t eclipse, though if he had to give up riding or writing well, he’d probably just start writing good. Despite a terrible sense of direction, TJ makes a natural fit at Gravel.Routes, where he channels his love of getting lost on gravel roads into an assurance that you don’t have to.
